Job summary

Wisconsin Electric Power, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, seeks a Power Generation Engineering Intern in Oak Creek, Wisconsin for May/June 2027 and full-time through the summer. The intern program offers hands-on experience supporting the Elm Road Generating Station with mentoring from senior engineers.

You will join a multi-disciplinary team focusing on operation, maintenance, performance and optimization, gaining real-world exposure while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or HSE.
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with a graduation date after July 2027.
• Minimum GPA of 2.8.
