Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering from an accredited curriculum in the US or equivalent from outside the US.
• Mastery of Associate level Project Engineer duties and demonstrated leadership to perform Journey level duties.
• Minimum of three years of cumulative experience in project engineering, design, and construction.
• Ability to obtain California PE license within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Program lead for mechanical asset programs related to powerhouse equipment and align with business and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and document strategic plans for Powerhouse Asset Family within Asset Management.
• Develop investment strategies and technical scope for long-term planning and capital projects.
• Support senior engineers in maintenance strategies, process improvements, and risk analysis for a portfolio of powerhouses.
• Provide technical support to O&M and assist in incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Ensure scope, schedule, cost, and quality control of Asset Management Programs.
• Stamp and approve engineering drawings and documents and communicate with internal/external stakeholders.
• Identify gaps between current practices and objectives and propose process improvements.
