Job Overview

As a Power Equipment Operator, you will be part of the essential processes that enable our store delivery, big ticket (furniture and bedding), and customer fulfillment warehouses to deliver a customer-centric supply chain and move products quickly to meet our customers' expectations. You will operate material handling equipment (MHE) in our warehouse and fulfillment centers.

You will be a critical part of our Supply Chain team, driving success across the organization using a Four Pillars Strategy: Organizational Excellence, Building & Developing the Team, Financial Acumen, and Community Integration. What You Will Do

• Equipment Operation: Operate various power equipment to perform pick, pull, put away, and utility tasks meeting quality, accuracy, and productivity standards. This includes operating equipment at heights up to 40 ft, such as stock pickers, reach trucks, turrets, and doubles.
• Technology: Use PCs, handheld computers, RF devices, and learn system functions within warehouse and proprietary systems.
• Safety: Perform tasks safely while navigating narrow aisles and high elevations, wearing safety harnesses as needed. Report equipment failures or accidents and provide safety feedback.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively, communicate effectively, and foster an environment of respect and inclusiveness.

Who You Are

• No formal education or experience required.
• Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and operational instructions.
• Adaptable and proactive in changing environments.
• Proficient with computers and handheld devices.
• Comfortable working at heights.
