GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Survey Field Technician to join our Pittsburgh Power & Energy Market Sector. You will work in a team-oriented environment supporting professional growth and development, performing field surveying and data collection.

The role emphasizes safety, ability to travel up to 95% during weekdays, lifting up to 50 lbs, and operating survey equipment such as total stations and data collectors. A HS diploma and a valid Driver's License are required.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of field surveying experience
• Must have a valid Driver’s License
• Strong understanding of survey nomenclature and data transfer processes

Responsibilities

• Lead effective safety talks and coordinate with office personnel
• Set up tripods, levels and calibrate survey equipment
• Perform horizontal/vertical measurements and ensure accuracy
• Operate total stations and data collectors
• Travel up to 95% and work outdoors in varying conditions
