Astranis Space Technologies Corp. seeks a Power Electronics Team Lead to direct a team of engineers and shape spacecraft power architectures for GEO platforms.
You will define power requirements in collaboration with a broad, multidisciplinary team and oversee design, build, and test of power converters from concept to production. As a senior leader, you will manage schedules, drive hardware development, and support production and flight operations.
Astranis builds advanced satellites for high orbits, expanding humanity's reach into the solar system. Today, Astranis satellites provide dedicated, secure networks to highly‑sophisticated customers across the globe: large enterprises, sovereign governments, and the U.S. military. With five satellites on orbit and many more set to launch soon, the company is servicing a backlog of more than $1 billion of commercial contracts.
As the Team Lead for the Power Electronic Engineering Team you will play a critical role in building and leading a team of Power Electronics engineers. You'll support the team in pushing the boundary of what is possible in a geo‑synchronous spacecraft design and enable performance in space that has not been realized to date.
Base Salary: $160,000 – $215,000 USD
