Job summary

Keysight is seeking an R&D Engineer – Oscilloscope Applications to build software for real-time oscilloscope platforms focused on Power Analysis. You will collaborate with QA, production, marketing, and planning teams to deliver robust, customer-focused software solutions.

You will also explore and integrate AI tools, keeping the oscilloscope at the forefront of technology while advancing test and measurement capabilities for engineers worldwide.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering with Power Electronics focus.
• Experience designing or validating power electronic converters (DC-DC, AC-DC, DC-AC) and their applications.
• Strong understanding of various power converter topologies.
• Working knowledge in building, testing, and debugging software.
• Experience with object-oriented programming.

Responsibilities

• Develop software for the oscilloscope platform targeted toward Power Analysis.
• Collaborate with QA, production, marketing and planning teams to deliver software meeting customer needs.
• Leverage AI as a development tool and as an embedded capability within the oscilloscope.

R&D Engineer – Oscilloscope Applications

Join a team building software at the heart of the most advanced test and measurement instruments in the world. We develop applications for industry-leading real-time Oscilloscopes — tools used by engineers pushing the boundaries of electronics, communications, and research.

In this role, you will develop software for our oscilloscope platform targeted toward Power Analysis while contributing to the next generation of test and measurement technology. You will collaborate with QA, production, marketing, and planning teams to deliver software that meets the real needs of our customers. You will also leverage AI both as a development tool and as a capability embedded within the oscilloscope itself — keeping you at the forefront of emerging technologies in the industry.

Qualifications

Must Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering with major in Power Electronics or related field.
• Experience designing and/orvalidatingvarious power electronic converters (DC-DC, AC-DC, DC-AC) andtheirapplications.
• Strong understanding of various powerconvertertopologies.
• Working knowledge in building, testing, and debugging software

Desired Qualifications

• Experience using digital oscilloscopes
• Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio using C++
• Familiarity with Git source control
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools – Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket

The level of role will be based on applicable experience, education and skills; Most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed below.
Colorado Pay Range MIN $110,740.00, MAX $184,570.00
