Job summary

iDEAL Semiconductor, Lehigh Valley, is seeking a Systems & Applications Technician to support the development, testing, and validation of power-electronics systems and platforms. The role emphasizes hands-on lab work, assembling PCBs, debugging, and collaborating with applications engineers.

Qualifications

• Hand soldering SMT and TH components on PCBs.
• Ability to identify resistors, capacitors and inductors.

Responsibilities

• Assemble PCBs (solder parts on printed circuit boards).
• Debug circuits and applications with engineering supervision.
• Build small electrical assemblies (wiring) and small mechanical work (fixtures).
• Test using oscilloscope, power supplies, and multimeters (will train) following test procedures.
• Help repair prototypes and boards damaged during testing.
• Organize the lab.
