Job summary

Weave is seeking a Power Electrical Engineer to design the electrical systems for its home robotics platform. You will develop battery management, power distribution, and robust power architectures while coordinating with embedded, controls, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to ensure reliable production hardware.

Responsibilities include designing power systems, owning PCB development, and validating hardware across operating conditions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years designing power electronics for robotics or similar products.
• Strong understanding of battery systems, power distribution, and system-level power design.
• Experience with Altium Designer or similar ECAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Design power systems including battery management and DC/DC conversion.
• Own board development from schematic to production.
• Optimize efficiency and thermal performance across the robot.
• Validate hardware with automated validation plans and tests.
• Collaborate with embedded, controls, mechanical, and manufacturing teams.
• Support production with DFM/DFT improvements and bring-up.
