Job summary

Quest Global in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a hands-on Power Electrical Engineer focused on power supply hardware. You will bring up, test, and characterize power circuits and rails, run bench measurements, and organize results to support engineering and validation efforts.

Ideal candidates have a degree in Electrical Engineering or related hands-on experience, familiarity with lab instruments, and a methodical approach to data.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with power electronics fundamentals and measurement.
• Ability to read schematics and use standard lab instruments.
• Basic soldering / rework and bench debugging skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform bench bring-up, functional testing, and characterization of power supply circuits, regulators, and rails.
• Benchmark power performance including efficiency, regulation, ripple, and transient response.
• Measure battery, charging, and power-delivery behavior across operating conditions.
• Set up lab equipment and maintain test fixtures and cables.
• Execute power test plans, log results, and flag anomalies for review.
• Capture and analyze measurement data; produce clear reports and plots.
• Assist with board rework and debug tasks; track units and inventory.
• Document test procedures and validate power systems.
