Crane Aerospace & Electronics in Fort Walton Beach, FL is seeking a Power Electronics Engineer to design high power AC-DC and DC-DC converters for radar, directed energy, and military applications. You will develop power subsystems, analyze designs, and sustain products through the full lifecycle, ensuring compliance with customer and program requirements.
Ideal candidates have 5+ years in power conversion, DC-DC/AC-DC experience, and strong communication skills.
Qualifications
- 5+ years industry experience electronics power conversion product design and manufacturing.
- DC-DC or AC-DC converter design experience or inverter design experience.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communications skills.
- BSEE, or related technicalBachelor’s degree
Responsibilities
- Analyze and design high power AC-DC and DC-DC converters.
- Develop power sub-systems for radar and directed energy applications.
- Document designs and perform testing and validation.
- Support lifecycle from design through manufacturing.
