Job summary

Stellantis is seeking a Power Electronics Design and Release Engineer based in Auburn, Alabama. The engineer will design, validate, and release Power Electronics Components for electrified vehicles, ensuring performance, quality, and cost objectives are met.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and has over 5 years of experience in high-voltage components within the automotive field.

Responsibilities include developing specifications, collaborating with suppliers, and managing component development progress.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of engineering experience with high-voltage and/or power electronics components.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, protocols, and applicable industry standards.
  • Proven experience developing and executing DFMEA, DVP&R, and validation plans.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop reliable Power Engineering Components.
  • Define and develop Design Verification Plans and execute verification testing.
  • Support creation of component specifications from vehicle and system requirements.
