Job summary

Monolithic Power Systems, Inc. (MPS) is seeking sharp engineering students for a paid Applications Engineer internship in San Jose, CA.

You will support the AE team with analog IC and module product development, perform simulations and bench evaluations, and contribute to reference designs. You will write application notes, work three days per week in office or lab as coordinated, and present results to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 3rd year BSEE or 4th year MSEE student.
• Must be able to live in San Jose during internship.
• English proficiency with excellent communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with power electronics hardware implementation and testing.

Responsibilities

• Research MPS products and technology.
• Provide application support for customers and FAEs.
• Collaborate with AEs and DEs on product evaluation and debugging.
• Write application notes, design notes, and articles.
• Work in office or lab, 3 days per week as coordinated.
• Present project summaries and results to senior leadership.
