Job summary

Under general direction, you will assign work, monitor crews, and oversee construction and maintenance programs to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Requires 12th grade and 6 years in electrical power distribution, incl. 2 years supervisory/administrative experience.
• GED may be substituted for the 12th grade.
• Significant coursework related to mechanical or electrical engineering may substitute for up to 2 years of non-supervisory/non-administrative experience.

Responsibilities

• Assigns work to crews and manages schedules to meet priorities.
• Monitors the power distribution and transmission system load.
• Oversees construction and maintenance programs for line crews.
• Orders equipment, tools, and supplies; inspects work for conformance to plans.
• Assists in engineering coordination, forecasting equipment and budget needs.
• Completes performance reviews and maintains work records.
