Job summary

NETA Testing Agency is seeking a Field Test Technician to join a rapidly expanding team. The role involves hands-on start-up, repair, and retrofit of circuit breakers, switchgear, transformers, motors, and related controls across electrical power distribution equipment.

Candidates with NETA certification are preferred, particularly NETA III; II and IV welcome. A minimum of two years' field experience in the power distribution sector is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in electrical power distribution servicing, maintaining, and testing equipment.
• Prefer NETA III; NETA II considered; NETA IV welcome.
• Experience with Medium Voltage (600V to 38kV), drives startup, IR thermography/photography, protective relays, switchgear, relays, arc flash, and breaker testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing, startup, repair, and retrofit of electrical power distribution equipment.
• Work on circuit breakers, switchgear, transformers, motors and related controls at client sites.
• Collaborate with experienced NETA technicians and support commissioning activities.
