Job summary

Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Power Distribution Engineer with our large power and utilities client in Rural Hall, NC. This is a 12-month contract with potential for extension.

The role requires collaboration with engineering firms, customers, contractors and management, provides technical expertise on distribution projects, uses Maximo and BOUD, and sits on the client's W2 without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Provide leadership to oversee and direct work in a defined area with some supervision.
• Support major projects in the Triad Zone including distribution system upgrades.
• Coordinate with engineering firms, customers, contractors and management; participate in field visits.
• Utilize Maximo and BOUD for project support and field activities.

• Provide technical expertise to solve complex problems and guide work with supervision.

• Identify, analyze and resolve problems in your area of expertise.
• Plan, organize, estimate, schedule and monitor work activities to meet goals.
