Job Summary

The Power Distribution Design Engineer supports the design and planning of electrical power distribution systems in Charlotte. The role combines office-based design-system work and work-order management with approximately one day per week collecting and verifying field data. This position applies developing technical knowledge to distribution problems, engineering studies, calculations, sketches, and project documentation while building greater independence with guidance.

PAY: $20.00/hr - $36.00/hr DOE LOCATION: Charlotte, NC 28273 WORK TYPE: Onsite SCHEDULE: Full-time; approximately one day per week in the field

Job Responsibilities

Work Environment

This is an in-person role in Charlotte, NC. Approximately one day per week is spent in the field gathering and verifying pole and line or other distribution-system data; the remainder of the work is office-based design-system and work-order activity. The role requires accurate recordkeeping, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple assignments at the same time.
