Job summary

Trystar Inc is seeking a Distro Assembler for the 1st shift in Faribault, MN. This role involves assembling portable and permanent power distribution components within a high-volume manufacturing environment, using hand and power tools, and ensuring quality standards.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year in manufacturing. You will work safely, follow SOPs, and participate in a team-focused culture that values integrity and customer focus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read instructions and safely operate machines.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds intermittently.
• Must read, write and comprehend plant directives written in English.
• Use a tape measure and perform simple math.
• Basic understanding of blueprints, mechanical and electrical assembly.
• Frequent lifting, standing, bending & reaching.
• Pass a pre-employment physical and drug test.
• Must adhere to PPE requirements (eye, hand, feet, hearing).
• Team environment and problem solving with coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Review and understand job orders and interact with Epicor, properly badging in and out of active job orders on the production floor.
• Read, comprehend, and execute SOPs to safely operate equipment and assemble products.
• Complete and maintain all required Pre-Assembly paperwork.
• Maintain and safely operate hand and power tools.
• Perform and document required quality control checks to ensure product specifications are met.
• Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
