Job summary

WSP seeks a Project Manager for Power Delivery in multiple US regions, including Boston and surrounding locations. The role entails initiating and executing high voltage projects, managing client relationships, and promoting WSP’s Power Delivery services.

Travel to client or office sites is required as needed. The ideal candidate has extensive PM experience in power delivery, strong leadership, and proficiency with PM processes, tools, and QA/QC programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering, Construction Management or related field within Power & Energy Market.
• 12+ years of post-education project management experience in Power Delivery/Utility.
• 5+ years of leading engineering/construction teams for HV/EHV projects.
• Experience with IOUs, IPPs, Co-Ops, Munis, etc.

Responsibilities

• Provide PM leadership for HV and EHV Substation/Transmission projects, managing budgets, forecasts, margins, and KPIs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, report progress.
• Lead pursuit, go/no-go decisions, contract reviews, risk mitigation, and pricing reviews.
• Lead or participate in contract negotiations and client presentations.
• Direct technical reviews and ensure QA/QC adherence across projects.
• Mentor staff and provide guidance to project teams.
• Maintain project documentation (PMP, QP, PSP, Risk, Communications).
• Coordinate resource and subcontracting needs; lead kick-off meetings.
• Ensure regular client reporting on scope, budget, and issues.
• Drive lessons learned and project recovery plans when needed.
• Collaborate across disciplines for trusted-advisor solutions.
