Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead delivery of electric utility projects, guiding overhead and underground design from planning through construction
  • Own project performance – scope, schedule, budget, and client satisfaction
  • Manage and mentor multidisciplinary teams in a high-performing environment
  • Serve as the primary liaison with utilities, clients, and regulatory agencies
  • Drive technical quality through QA/QC and adherence to standards
  • Lead design reviews, stakeholder meetings, and presentations
  • Coordinate across disciplines to deliver efficient, constructible solutions
  • Manage change processes, permitting, and regulatory approvals
  • Support construction through field engagement and issue resolution
  • Continuously improve project delivery through lessons learned and feedback

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering (Electrical emphasis), Mechanical Engineering, or Civil Engineering
  • Professional Engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered (PE or P.Eng)
  • Previous experience in electrical design of buildings (lighting/power/systems) and project execution within the Power Market Sector
  • Strong computer skills using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, plus standard Power Market Sector design software (e.g., PLS CAD, Plant 3D, AutoPipe, Revit, SKM, AGI, Easy Power)
  • Commitment to active participation in an employee-owned culture
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in power delivery/project execution
  • Prior experience with an engineering consulting firm
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage client relationships
  • Experience in power delivery, utility engineering, or related infrastructure
  • Strong project management and leadership capabilities
  • Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Knowledge of utility standards, codes, and regulatory requirements
  • Proactive mindset with a drive for ownership and results
