Job summary

RK Industries is seeking a Report Developer to design and implement data-driven reporting solutions using Power BI and SQL Azure. You will work with operations, finance, and project management to improve visibility and business performance while learning new technologies in a growing, employee-owned company.

The ideal candidate has strong consultative skills, data modeling expertise, and experience delivering end-to-end analytics solutions in cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or 5 years of proven field experience.
• At least 2 years of experience advising on, managing, and delivering technical solutions.
• At least 2 years' experience with Power BI (Power Query, SSAS Tabular) and SQL Azure.
• 3+ years in data engineering related to data integration, data modeling, analytics, and reporting and/or cloud solutions (Azure or AWS).
• 2+ years' experience with SQL Server environment using SQL/T-SQL or Postgres/PLpgSQL.

Responsibilities

• Support RK by collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver innovative data solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain data platform solutions to support reporting and analytics.
• Follow team methodologies to ensure high-quality, scalable solutions.
