Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to analyze data and build Power BI dashboards that drive strategic decisions. You will integrate multiple data sources, create impactful visuals, and partner with teams across Love's Travel Stops to translate raw data into actionable insights.

The role focuses on presenting insights, monitoring KPIs, and acting as a subject matter expert in Power BI. Onsite at our Oklahoma City office four days per week, with one remote day optional.

Qualifications

• BA/BS minimum; Masters preferred in a quantitative field.
• 3-5+ years in accounting, finance, retail, analytics or operations with reporting exposure.
• At least 3 years using Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
• At least 3 years writing SQL to extract and manipulate data.
• Proficiency in reporting, data management, and ad-hoc analytics.
• Strong teamwork and communication across cross-functional teams.
• Ability to design clear dashboards and visualize insights.

Responsibilities

• Build datasets with SQL and create interactive Power BI dashboards to show leadership KPI progress.
• Identify, automate, and validate extraction of new metrics from various data sources.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and tech teams to understand needs and guide analyses.
• Present data effectively to support informed decision-making.
• Create detailed analytical reports and simplify data into clear visuals.
• Merge internal and external datasets and perform statistical analyses to highlight advantages.
• Develop relationships with technical teams and domain experts.
• Provide ongoing analytics support and reporting guidance as needed.
• Approach requests with flexibility and curiosity to improve problem-solving.
• Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail when debugging data and spotting anomalies.
• Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and communicate expectations.
