Job summary

Neos Consulting Group is seeking a Power BI Developer / Senior Data Analyst for a contract role in a hybrid setting in Austin, TX. The candidate will design complex dimensional data models, build Power BI reports, and craft compelling data stories for agency-wide analytics.

The role requires at least 5 years of data analysis experience and strong SQL, DAX, and data warehousing skills, with collaboration across client business and IT teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in data analysis, research, compilation, and/or reporting.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience developing Power BI reports, dashboards, and dimensional data models.

Responsibilities

• Data Modeling & Report Development: design and build complex dimensional data models.
• Develop and publish Power BI reports and dashboards with best practices for accuracy.
• Data Visualization & Storytelling: visualise data stories for stakeholders.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with client business and IT teams.
• End-to-end data visualization solutions from requirements through deployment.
• Data Quality & Analysis: analyze data, identify patterns, and clean data.
• Prepare concise technical reports presenting findings and recommendations.
