P3 Adaptive is seeking a senior BI/Analytics consultant to turn data into trusted business decisions for client teams across the US. You’ll own the full stack from data sources to semantic models and dashboards, with a strong emphasis on AI-assisted delivery.

You’ll work directly with clients, translate frustration into technical wins, and grow in a hands-on, senior team that values practical impact. Remote US-based, competitive compensation, and full benefits.

What You'll Actually Do

The Human Stuff:

• Be the trusted advisor who translates business frustrations into technical wins
• Guide clients from "we have data but can't use it" to "we're excited to come to work"
• Train and enable client teams. We're not trying to create dependency, human or AI

The Analytics Stuff:

• Model business reality into semantic layers that scale
• Write DAX and Power Query that turn data chaos into trust
• Own the whole stack, source to model to visual to decision, so nothing gets lost in the handoff

The AI Stuff:

• Interrogate client data models directly. We've built MCP servers that let Claude read and shape semantic models, so you can prototype and pressure-test a solve at conversation speed
• Turn a discovery call into a working prototype in the same session using our AI publishing layer, so a client can see and click a real answer before the meeting ends
• Build reusable skills and tools when the same client problem shows up twice. You're growing our leverage, not just delivering work
• Catch what AI misses. You know a wrong model or lazy join looks fine to an LLM. You're the reason our clients trust the answer

What You Need

Technical and AI Chops:

• Advanced Power BI, DAX, and Power Query. You know why context transition matters and can catch a measure that looks right but isn't
• Dimensional modeling that scales. Anti-patterns catch your eye before they catch a client
• You've used AI in real client or production work. You can point to something an AI helped you ship and describe exactly where it was wrong before you fixed it
• You treat AI output as a starting draft, not a final answer. You verify, you test, you know how it fails

Human Skills:

• You care as much about business impact as technical polish
• You can translate executive frustration into technical and human solves
• You don't just deliver dashboards. You earn trust by helping clients think differently
• Comfortable presenting to a C-suite or a front-line manager

Logistics:

• US Citizenship or Green Card. This position does not sponsor work visas
• Strong written and spoken English
