Job summary

UNIVERSAL Technologies in Long Island City, NY, seeks a Data Analytics & Reporting Specialist with hands-on Power BI and Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) experience to design scalable analytics solutions that translate business needs into actionable insights.

You will build modern reporting ecosystems, create robust data models and pipelines, govern data assets, and deliver interactive dashboards while collaborating with business partners to enable data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
8+ years building analytics and reporting solutions with data modeling and dashboards.
Hands-on dashboards with Power BI and Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).
Strong SQL skills in Oracle and SQL Server; PLSQL experience a plus.
ETL/ELT design, data quality, governance, and scalable reporting models.

Responsibilities

Define reporting needs with stakeholders and translate to dashboards and metrics.
Serve as SME for data analytics and governance across platforms.
Analyze databases and data warehouses to identify sources for reporting.
Design and maintain Power BI and OAC dashboards with drilldowns and KPI scorecards.
Develop semantic models and curated datasets for self-service analytics.
Build automated scalable data pipelines with validation and documentation.
Ensure metadata, lineage, access controls, and governance across platforms.
Monitor query performance and troubleshoot data issues end-to-end.
Implement repeatable deployment via Git and CI/CD practices.
Create user guides to support data understanding and adoption.
