Job summary

AVE by Korman Communities is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to design, build, and validate Power BI solutions that support operational and strategic decisions. You will integrate data from multiple systems, develop data models, write SQL and DAX, and ensure data accuracy through validation and reconciliation.

The role reports to the VP of Revenue & Data Strategy and offers a hybrid work arrangement, with consideration for based in Philadelphia, NJ, AZ, PA, or Austin, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, Mathematics, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience developing BI or reporting solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI including report development, DAX, Power Query, and visualization best practices.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
• Experience with data modeling and data transformation concepts.
• Experience validating and reconciling reporting outputs against source systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, scorecards, and datasets.
• Develop DAX measures, KPIs, and calculations to support reporting needs.
• Translate business requirements into effective reporting and visualization solutions.
• Optimize report performance, usability, and scalability.
• Validate reporting outputs against source systems and reconcile data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand objectives and prioritize reporting initiatives.
