Job summary

Everforth ECS in Arlington, VA is seeking a PowerBI Developer to join as a mid-level analyst. The role focuses on designing and maintaining interactive Power BI dashboards, migrating legacy reports, and delivering high-impact BI solutions in a hybrid office setting.

You will partner with data engineers, interface with stakeholders, and support the migration of legacy dashboards while ensuring data accuracy, performance, and security best practices across cloud data sources.

Qualifications

• US Citizen with ability to obtain/maintain DHS Entry on Duty (EOD) Public Trust.
• Bachelor's Degree + 5 years of relevant experience (or 9 years of experience in lieu of a degree).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform, and specifically PowerBI.
• Proficiency in Power BI, DAX programming, data integration, data modeling, and cloud integration.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with data querying, manipulation, and automation.
• Experience building dashboards and reports, business intelligence, and data analysis.
• Strong understanding of Data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT processes, Data security implementation.
• Experience working with AWS S3, Databricks Lakehouse, Azure Data Lake, SQL server, oracle databases.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration and working in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Dashboard Development: design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Data Integration: integrate Power BI with data sources and implement data transformations.
• Analysis & Reporting: perform in-depth data analysis to support decisions and provide insights.
• Performance Optimization: optimize dashboards for speed and usability.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Documentation: create and maintain documentation for dashboards and data models.
• Training & Support: mentor junior developers and end-users on Power BI usage.
