Job summary

Contact Government Services (CGS) is seeking a Mid-level Power BI Developer to join the Information Technology department. The role focuses on building enterprise analytics models with Power BI, developing data warehouses, and delivering self-service analytics for a Federal agency support project.

The candidate will work with Azure services and SQL-based data structures, participate in Agile deliveries, and contribute to reporting, dashboards, and data preparation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
• 2–4 years of development experience in Data Analytic technologies.
• Knowledge of Microsoft enterprise cloud technologies such as Dynamics 365 CRM, Office 365, Microsoft Azure.
• Strong experience in SQL and RDBMS technologies.
• Experience with Agile project deliveries and delivering to tight timescales.
• Web API experience.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps.
• ETL, SSAS, and SSIS experience.
• SSRS reporting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Build Data Analytics enterprise models using Power BI.
• Develop tabular and multidimensional models compatible with warehouse standards.
• Develop self-service models and data analytics using Power BI service.
• Publish, schedule, and distribute reports and dashboards to meet business requirements.
• Assist business users with functional and data requirements to enhance data models.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements and provide prototyped solutions.
