Job summary

CEEUS, located in West Columbia, SC, seeks a hands-on BI developer to design, build, and support Power BI reports, semantic models, and automated solutions that improve operational decision-making.

This role requires strong SQL and backend skills to shape and validate data from ERP and other systems, along with extensive Excel and Microsoft 365 tooling; you will work with Business Transformation and users to deliver reliable analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Data Analytics or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years building production BI, reporting, analytics, or automation.
• Strong Power BI skills: reports, semantic models, relationships, and DAX measures.
• Experience with Power Query and Excel to transform, blend, and validate data.
• Knowledge of relational data concepts and SQL.
• Experience building Power Automate cloud flows and Microsoft 365 integrations.
• Strong Excel skills: formulas, tables, PivotTables, Power Query, and structure.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, documentation, and requirements-gathering skills.
• Ability to learn quickly, work in urgent environments, and use AI responsibly.
• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy, and support Power BI reports, dashboards, semantic models, and datasets.
• Develop clear data models, relationships, reusable DAX measures, and consistent business definitions.
• Use Power Query and SQL to connect, clean, transform, and validate data from ERP, Excel, Microsoft 365, and other systems.
• Build and improve Excel-based tools with PivotTables, Power Query, Power Pivot, formulas, and validation.
• Use Power Automate to automate workflows; monitor and troubleshoot failures.
• Collaborate with the Business Transformation team and business users to define requirements and measures.
• Support the Power BI Service lifecycle: workspaces, access, refreshes, gateways, deployment, performance, usage, and monitoring.
• Investigate data discrepancies, refresh failures, performance issues, and root causes; own resolution.
• Follow testing, release, documentation, and knowledge-sharing practices.
• Collaborate with the Data Engineer and Application Developer for data integration.
