Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to assist in converting a backlog of reports from Tableau to Power BI.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in Power BI development, data visualization, and report migration.

Responsibilities:

• Convert existing Tableau reports into Power BI
• Collaborate with the DBA to understand business reporting needs and optimize Power BI solutions
• Develop Power BI dashboards and reports
• Check proper data connections and integrations between Power BI and underlying data sources
• Optimize report performance and troubleshoot data visualization issues
• Work with stakeholders to refine reporting requirements and improve dashboards
• Follow best practices for data governance, security, and deployment

Qualifications:

• Experience as a Power BI Developer, with expertise in report development and visualization
• Experience migrating reports from Tableau to Power BI
• Strong understanding of SQL and database structures
• Ability to connect Power BI with various data sources, including SQL and cloud services
• Experience with DAX and Power Query

Preferred Qualifications:

• Data modeling in Power BI
• Power BI Service, Gateway, and security configurations
• Familiarity with Azure, Snowflake, or other cloud platforms
