Job summary

Wisetek Providers INC seeks a Senior Power BI Developer to lead the design, development, and optimization of BI solutions. You will work with stakeholders to define KPIs, dimensions, and star schemas, delivering high-performance reports and semantic models.

Lead and mentor BI developers, establish best practices for data governance and security, including row-level security and data masking, while moving toward enterprise-wide BI excellence.

Qualifications

• Senior Power BI Developer with BI design and optimization experience.
• Expertise in Power BI, data modeling, and DAX.
• Strong SQL skills with complex queries and optimization.
• Experience with on-prem Oracle and Databricks data sources.
• Define KPIs and semantic models with star schemas.

Responsibilities

Duration: 8 Months – Long Term Contract

Hybrid Onsite: 4 days per week from Day 1, with a full transition to 100% onsite anticipated soon

Job Description:

• We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power BI Developer to lead the design, development, and optimization of our business intelligence solutions.
• Expertise in Power BI, data modeling, and DAX.
• Strong SQL skills - complex queries, joins, CTEs, window functions, optimization to extract and transform data - help establish BI best practices across the organization.
• Work with on-prem Oracle data sources and cloud sources on Databricks.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and data teams to define KPIs, dimensions, and fact tables.
• Build semantic layers and star schemas to enable intuitive, high-performance analytics.
• Develop optimized Power BI reports, dashboards, and paginated reports.
• Define and enforce best practices for data modeling, governance, and security (Row‑Level Security, data masking, and access control).
• Provide mentorship and architectural guidance to BI developers and analysts.
