Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that empower our organization to make data-driven decisions. This role requires a strong understanding of data modeling, analysis, and the ability to create intuitive dashboards and reports using Power BI.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards that meet business requirements.
• Utilize SQL to extract and manipulate data from various sources.
• Implement data modeling techniques to create efficient and scalable BI solutions.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends and insights that drive business decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand their data needs.
• Use Power Query to clean and transform data for reporting purposes.
• Integrate Power BI with other systems, such as NetSuite and ServiceTrade, to enhance data connectivity.
• Automate report generation and data workflows using Microsoft Power Automate.
• Continuously monitor and optimize BI solutions for performance and usability.
• Document processes and provide training to end-users on Power BI tools and best practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and Power Query.
• Experience with data modeling and data analysis techniques.
• Experience with creating advanced reports using other tools such as Tableau, Qlik, Tibco, SSRS, SSIS, T-SQL, and MS SQL Server preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills for data manipulation and analysis.
• Familiarity with ERP systems like NetSuite and NextService preferred.
• Understanding of service management solutions like ServiceTrade.
• Knowledge of Azure services and their integration with BI tools preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders.
