We have an urgent role of Power BI Developer.

Hybrid to Princeton 3 days a week mandatory.

Travel to NYC office 2X a month mandatory.

Job Description:

70% Power BI and 30% Data Engineering.

Requirements:

• Experience in building Tables and Queries, making recommendations, modeling, and report building.
• Must come from enterprise environments with cloud experience, ideally Azure.
• Insurance experience is a plus.
• Must have Power BI, Azure Databricks, DBT skills.

Technical Skills:

• Design and develop BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI.
• Configure data security, manage licenses, and share reports/dashboards.
• Create parameterized queries, sub-reports, measures using DAX, and utilize Power Pivot, Power View, Power Map.
• Develop interactive reports and dashboards, including utilizing Dynamics 365.
• Develop MDX scripts for datasets, including drill-down reports and dashboards.
• Experience with Databricks lakehouse and DBT for data processing and modeling.

Data Engineering:

• Implement Microsoft and Azure BI solutions like Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Analysis Services, SSIS, SSRS.
• Experience with Azure big data technologies and creating data movement notebooks in Databricks.
• Develop data warehouses, apply business rules for ETL processes, and deploy Azure Analysis Services models.
• Experience with SSAS cubes, KPIs, measures, and data mining models.

Team Skills:

• Strong team builder with analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of SDLC, proficient in technical writing.
• Experience with Waterfall, Agile, SCRUM methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and in teams to meet critical objectives.
