Job Description:

Pay Range: $45/hr - $50/hr

1. The candidate will need experience that allows them to create calculated columns, measures, and aggregations to enhance data analysis and visualization.
2. Additionally, they will be responsible for optimizing data queries for performance and ensuring seamless integration between Power BI and Snowflake.
3. This role also involves collaborating with business stakeholders to translate their reporting needs into actionable insights and creating interactive reports and dashboards that are user-friendly and visually impactful.

Skills and Experience:

1. Lead Power BI platform and the development of business reporting and visualization solutions using Power BI.
2. Train internal team members and business users to be proficient Power BI creators.
3. Be accountable for technical design and architecture and ensure solutions align with company architectural and governance standards.
4. Lead coordination with other IT and business teams on requirements.
5. Maintain and improve Power BI development standards and best practices.
6. Ensure the platform is scaled for performance.
7. Provide authoritative input into the BI strategic roadmap.
8. Craft and develop Power BI data models for reporting that support self-service.
9. Design and develop Power BI reports that meet business requirements.
10. Oversee usage by business teams.
11. Ensure regular collaboration with business teams to oversee Power BI activities.
12. Understand business needs and usage patterns as input into BI strategy.
13. Manage Power BI governance, including access and data connection segmentation.
14. Implement, manage, and govern Power BI data gateways.
15. Support enterprise initiatives to transition all data reporting to Power BI from other platforms.
16. Support continuous improvement initiatives, including project support, strategic planning, and roadmap development and implementation.
17. Other related duties as assigned.
