Title: Power BI Data Visualization Specialist
Location: Remote
Duration: 6+ months
Compensation: $60.00 – 70.00/hr
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

Power BI Data Visualization Specialist

Description:

• Designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand data needs
• Training Data Analytics & Metrics team on development of Power BI dashboards
• Maintaining data accuracy and integrity within BI systems
• Translating business requirements into technical specifications

Skills:

• Expertise in creating Power BI dashboards
• Proficiency with Power BI tools
• Expertise in DAX, SQL, Python, Power Query M language, JavaScript and data modeling techniques
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to translate business needs into technical specs
• Critical thinking for effective problem-solving
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
• Understanding of Qlik Sense

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related field with hands-on experience in Power BI development
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, business, information technology, or a related field

Preferred / Nice to Have Qualifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) is a plus
