Job summary

Talanto is seeking a Power BI Developer to design, build, and optimize BI reports and data models for enterprise analytics. You will work with data from databases, APIs, and files, transforming it into reliable insights.

The role requires strong SQL, ETL, and cloud-ready data skills, with collaboration across teams to deliver scalable solutions. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Power BI, DAX, Power Query, SSIS, and data modeling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support business decisions.
• Develop complex data models and perform advanced data transformation using Power BI tools (DAX, Power Query) and SQL.
• Consolidate and transform data from diverse sources (databases, Excel, text files, web APIs).
• Design and maintain relational and dimensional database models for reporting/analytics.
• Build, maintain, and optimize ETL processes using SSIS and data integration tools.
• Develop scalable data solutions and data delivery via APIs and modern integration tech.
• Perform data validation, QA, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
• Optimize queries, reports, and data workflows for performance and scale.
• Participate in DevOps/CI-CD activities including deployment automation.
• Create and maintain technical docs for data models, processes, tests, and configurations.
• Provide production support and respond to user questions post-implementation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Maintain communication with management and end users throughout the lifecycle.
• Support continuous improvement of reporting capabilities and data processes.
