We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Power BI Consultant to join our data intelligence team. In this client‑facing role, you’ll leverage your expertise in Power BI, Power Apps, and project controls reporting to analyze data, develop insightful visualizations, and help clients make strategic business decisions across construction, utilities, and capital project environments. You will work closely with clients to understand their operational and project challenges, interpret their needs, and deliver impactful BI solutions that improve visibility into project performance, scheduling, forecasting, and overall business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Work directly with clients to understand their business and project challenges and translate these into data-driven solutions. Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non‑technical stakeholders and project teams.

Data Analysis & Visualization

Use Power BI to analyze large datasets and create interactive, visually engaging dashboards and reports that provide clear business insights related to operational performance, project controls, scheduling, forecasting, and cost tracking.

Power Apps Development

Build and customize Power Apps solutions to streamline client operations and automate business processes, enhancing overall efficiency and workflow visibility.

Project Controls Reporting

Develop reporting solutions that support project controls functions including scheduling, forecasting, cost tracking, resource analysis, and performance reporting for capital projects and operational programs.

Work with Primavera P6 scheduling data to support schedule management, reporting, and dashboard development. Help integrate schedule data into enterprise reporting solutions and executive‑level dashboards.

Strategic Insights

Translate data into actionable insights that drive decision‑making. Provide strategic recommendations based on data analysis and visual storytelling.

Project Management

Lead BI projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and high‑quality outcomes. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including project managers, schedulers, project controls teams, and executive stakeholders.

Training & Support

Provide training and guidance to clients on how to effectively use Power BI dashboards and Power Apps solutions. Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting as needed.

Stay up-to-date with the latest BI tools, Power Platform capabilities, and industry best practices. Continuously evaluate and improve existing BI solutions to maximize impact and usability.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, Power BI Developer, Data Analyst, or similar role, preferably in a consulting or client‑facing environment
  • Expertise in Power BI including data modeling, report creation, dashboard design, DAX, and visualization best practices

  • Experience working within the construction, utilities, engineering, or capital project industries
  • Familiarity with Project Controls processes including scheduling, forecasting, cost tracking, and performance reporting
  • Experience using Primavera P6 for schedule management and reporting
  • Strong ability to turn raw data into clear, actionable insights through compelling visualizations and reports
  • Solid understanding of data structures, databases, ETL processes, and SQL for data extraction and analysis
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex data concepts in a simple, easy‑to‑understand way for clients at all levels

If you are a results‑driven, analytical thinker with a passion for ensuring successful project delivery, then we want to hear from you. Apply now to join our team as a Power BI Consultant and contribute to delivering solutions that make a difference in the lives of our customers.
