Job summary

CGS Federal is seeking a Power BI Developer to join the Information Technology team in Baltimore. The role focuses on building enterprise Power BI models, integrating with Azure services, and delivering self-service analytics to support a large Federal agency.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in Data Analytics, strong SQL/RDBMS skills, and experience with ETL/SSAS/SSIS. Collaboration with government stakeholders is essential; a clear path for growth and learning opportunities is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
• 2–4 years of development experience in Data Analytics technologies.
• Knowledge in Microsoft enterprise cloud technologies such as Dynamics 365 CRM, Office 365, Microsoft Azure.
• Strong experience in SQL and RDBMS technologies.
• Experience working in Agile project deliveries and delivering to tight timescales.
• Web API Experience.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps (VSTS).
• ETL, SSAS, and SSIS experience.
• SSRS Reporting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop Power BI enterprise models and dashboards.
• Create and publish self-service data analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with business users to refine data requirements and models.
• Implement data gateways and data integration workflows.
• Publish reports and dashboards meeting business needs.
• Support analytics security model implementations.
• Prototype data analytics solutions and perform design improvements.
