Job summary

SMX is seeking a Power BI developer to support our federal customer’s multi-domain technology platform, delivering secure, scalable analytics for decision makers at all levels.

Responsibilities include data modeling, KPI creation, interactive reports, and Power BI administration. The ideal candidate has 4+ years with Power BI, a Secret clearance, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI data modeling, DAX, calculated columns and KPIs.
• Ability to build interactive reports and dashboards in Power BI Desktop.
• Knowledge of Power BI administration tasks such as workspaces, security and data refresh schedules.
• Strong data visualization skills to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop Power BI reports, dashboards, and visuals.
• Connect Power BI to diverse data sources including databases, spreadsheets, APIs.
• Publish, share, and collaborate on reports using Power BI Service.
• Design intuitive dashboards tailored to different user requirements.
• Draft SOPs and training materials for client use.
• Collaborate with team members and subject-matter experts.
