Job description

Summary:

IJW Whiskey Company, LLC (IJW) is a dynamic, fully integrated spirits company. Founded in 2017, we’ve compiled the largest independent library of aged Kentucky bourbon and rye and established a global presence including offices in Beverly Hills, Louisville and Tokyo, Japan, a 40-acre campus in Danville. Our ambitious growth trajectory includes a new whiskey distillery in Shelbyville, KY, slated for completion in early 2026, and a Japanese distillery in Chitose that will be completed in late 2026. With over 100 years of combined industry expertise, our diverse team of seasoned professionals and dynamic newcomers has propelled IJW to the forefront of the spirits industry. Our strategic partnership with one of the nation's largest independent Wine & Spirits distributors has enabled us to offer 22 products across four unique private label bourbon brands in 28 states. We have added to our spirits portfolio with our first Tequila and Mezcal brands.

Position Overview:

We’re looking for a Power BI Analyst to build and improve reporting and automation across IJW. This role is focused on Microsoft Power BI and Power Automate: creating dashboards that help teams understand their data and workflows that reduce manual work.

You’ll work directly with business teams to understand what they need, connect information from systems such as ERP applications and SharePoint, and deliver solutions people can use.

The role will be based in our Los Angeles, CA, or Louisville, KY office and will work closely with stakeholders, IT, and external vendors.

Job Responsibilities
  • Work with business teams to understand reporting needs, manual processes, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for operational and leadership teams.
  • Connect and prepare data from ERP systems, SQL databases, spreadsheets, SharePoint, and other business applications.
  • Create data models and DAX measures; check data accuracy and resolve reporting discrepancies.
  • Build and maintain Power Automate workflows for approvals, notifications, data movement, and other recurring tasks.
  • Test, monitor, and troubleshoot reports and workflows, including data refreshes and failed flows.
  • Manage report access and work with IT on data access and security requirements.
  • Support reporting and automation needs during ERP implementations and other system projects, including testing and rollout.
  • Document reports, workflows, and processes, and help users adopt new tools.
  • Prioritize requests and coordinate with stakeholders, IT, and external vendors to deliver updates.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in business systems analysis, business intelligence, reporting, process automation, or a related role.
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining Power BI dashboards, including Power Query, data modeling, and DAX.

  • Working knowledge of SQL and experience using data from multiple business systems.
  • Ability to gather requirements from nontechnical stakeholders and turn them into reports or automated workflows.
  • Experience checking data accuracy, troubleshooting issues, and documenting solutions.
  • Strong organization and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple requests and work across teams.
  • Experience working with ERP data or applications, such as SAP, QuickBooks, or similar systems, is preferred.
  • Experience with SharePoint and other Microsoft 365 tools is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field is preferred.
