Job summary

Artifintech in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior Power BI & Data Analytics Consultant to support enterprise BI initiatives within the banking and financial services industry.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex Power BI dashboards, executive reports, and enterprise-level BI solutions.
• Translate business requirements into interactive dashboards and actionable reporting.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of Power BI architecture, data modeling, relationships, DAX, and performance optimization.
• Work with cloud teams to understand data pipelines and enterprise data environments.
• Understand end-to-end data flows, including ingestion, transformation, integration, and reporting.
• Collaborate with data engineering and cloud teams to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Utilize Python for data analysis, automation, and processing activities.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience designing and developing complex Power BI dashboards and enterprise reporting solutions, along with a solid understanding of cloud technologies, data architecture, and data engineering concepts. The candidate should be capable of understanding end‑to‑end data flows, working with cloud‑based data pipelines, and translating complex business requirements into meaningful analytical insights. Experience supporting banking technology organizations, particularly CIO or executive‑level reporting functions, will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience developing and implementing Power BI solutions
• 3+ years of experience working with CLOUD
• Strong experience designing and developing complex Power BI reports, dashboards, and enterprise reporting solutions.
• Banking or financial services industry experience is required.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, dimensional modeling, and business intelligence best practices.
• Understanding of cloud architecture, data pipelines, data flows, and data engineering concepts

General working knowledge of Python for data analysis or automation.

Experience working with large‑scale datasets and enterprise environments.

Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting CIO organizations, technology leadership, or executive‑level reporting.
• Experience working with Cloud‑based data platforms and enterprise data pipelines.
• Familiarity with observability, monitoring, and data quality practices.
• Exposure to AI/ML technologies or AI‑enabled analytics solutions.
• Ability to work across business, analytics, cloud, and data engineering teams.
