Job summary

Amplytico is seeking a talented Microsoft Power Apps Developer with strong Power BI expertise to design, develop, and maintain custom business applications on the Power Platform. You will build canvas and model-driven apps, connect to SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL Server, and external APIs, and create actionable Power BI insights.

The role requires 4+ years of hands-on Power Apps experience, strong data modeling skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Apps (canvas and model-driven)
• Proficient in Power BI development, including complex reports and data modeling
• Advanced DAX formulas and measures
• Experience with Power Query (M language)
• Proven expertise in Power Automate for multi-step workflows and approvals
• Strong data connectivity with SQL Server, SharePoint, Excel, Dataverse, and external APIs
• Knowledge of environment security, sharing settings, RBAC, and data loss prevention
• Experience with responsive design for desktop, tablet, and mobile
• Strong troubleshooting across the Power Platform ecosystem
• Knowledge of Dataverse structure and relationships
• Experience with SharePoint Online integration with Power Platform
• Strong SQL knowledge for data querying and manipulation
• Excellent communication to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Legal authorization to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement end-to-end solutions using Power Apps (canvas and model-driven)
• Create responsive interfaces for web and mobile apps with UX, performance, and accessibility
• Architect data integration across SharePoint lists, Dataverse, SQL Server, Excel and external APIs
• Develop Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations with data modeling
• Maintain secure data connections between Power Apps and Power BI with real-time sync
• Lead requirements gathering sessions and translate needs into technical specs
• Build automated workflows with Power Automate including approvals and notifications
• Create technical documentation: architecture diagrams, data models, processes, and user guides
• Debug and troubleshoot across the Power Platform ecosystem
• Monitor and evaluate new Power Platform features and adoption strategies
