Job summary

AMD is seeking a dynamic Systems Design Engineer - Power & AI to join the Client and Graphic System Architecture team in Austin, TX (or Markham, ON). You’ll define products, develop automated power modeling, and partner with multiple teams to validate features and meet schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical or computer engineering or related field.
• Experience with lab equipment and measurement techniques.
• Strong understanding of system architecture and debugging methods.

Responsibilities

• Drive scalable and automated solutions for System Power Modeling.
• Develop and automate Platform Management Framework feature sets.
• Collaborate across multiple teams to validate and optimize features on schedule.
• Lead cross-functional efforts and contribute to electrical/compute system design.
• Support tool development and procedures to improve product quality.
