Qualifications

• Associate degree in Materials Science or related field preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Materials Science or related discipline preferred.
• Previous laboratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare powder metal samples for testing using established procedures.
• Perform grinding, sieving, blending, weighing, mounting as required.
• Conduct routine physical and chemical testing of powder metals and related materials.
• Record, review, and organize analytical data in laboratory information systems and client reports.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Follow SOPs, QA protocols, and laboratory safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory work environment.
• Assist analysts, scientists, and project managers with testing projects and investigations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Communicate effectively with laboratory personnel regarding sample status and schedules.
