Job summary

Abbott in Casa Grande, AZ is hiring a Day Shift Powder Filling Operator in the nutrition manufacturing plant. You will support production lines, ensure labeling accuracy, and uphold quality standards to deliver safe, reliable products.

The 12-hour daytime shift runs from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm with every other weekend off. You will follow FDA/OSHA compliance and collaborate across packaging and filling operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Authorized to work in the United States per federal law.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the effectiveness of the quality system.
• Labelers/Over cappers - ensure proper operation, correct labels, and changeovers.
• Hand and Auto Packers/Palletizer Tray/Shrink wrapper and pallet stacking; ensure proper equipment operation.
• In-Process Testing/Documentation.
• Line Support; Forklift operation to ensure line supplies.

What You'll Work On

• Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system.
• Labelers/Over cappers - Ensure proper operation of labelers and over cappers; ensure correct labels and over caps for product being filled are used; ensure daily maintenance of labeler and over capper; changeover of equipment and track work for various can sizes; routine PM’s for equipment; pull samples as required.
• Hand and Auto Packers/Palletizer Tray/Shrink wrapper. Auto or hand case packing/tray wrapping and pallet stacking of all products; ensure proper operation of equipment; changeover of equipment for various can sizes; routine PM’s on equipment; perform outgoing inspection per work order requirement; stretch wrap finished pallets and supply lid feed system.
• In-Process Testing/Documentation
• Line Support; Forklift Operation - Ensure adequate line supplies of products and materials; staging and removal of pallets

You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.

Shift :

The shift and hours: This is a 12-hour DAY shift position from 6 :00 am to 6 :00 pm and allows you to have every other weekend off.

• Schedule : 12-hour Day Shift from 6 :00 AM to 6 :00 PM
• Work-Life Balance : Enjoy every other weekend off with a consistent rotating schedule.

Shift Pattern :

• Week 1 : Wed & Thurs (12 hrs)
• Week 2 : Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun (12 hrs)
• Week 3 : Wed & Thurs (12 hrs)
• Week 4 : Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun (12 hrs)

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
