The role supports finishing operations and aims to maintain high coating quality, efficiency, and production output. The ideal candidate will have powder coating or industrial painting experience and thrive in a fast-paced, high-mix manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
- Powder coating or industrial painting experience required.
- Experience in fast-paced, high-mix manufacturing environments.
- Ability to monitor coating quality and support color changes.
Responsibilities
- Apply powder coating in a fast-paced, high-mix manufacturing environment.
- Monitor coating quality, including appearance, adhesion, and cure.
- Perform basic chemical testing to support coating process requirements.
- Prepare painting equipment for color changes between production batches.
- Monitor inventory of powder coating and related materials.
- Follow established painting and coating procedures to maintain consistent quality.
- Understand how coating quality impacts downstream manufacturing processes and the end customer.
- Support departmental productivity and quality goals.
- Communicate effectively with the Paint Line Manager and other departments.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Follow all applicable safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
