Job summary

Stryker Corporation in Portage, Michigan is seeking a manufacturing associate to perform painting and powder coating, load/unload parts, and prepare components to meet specifications. You will set equipment, ensure color and feed rates meet tolerances, and perform quality checks on your own work and area.

Join a team focused on reliability and continuous improvement, with a Monday–Friday 4:45am–1:15pm onsite schedule, plus two Saturday overtime per month.

Qualifications

• Preferred High School or GED manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Paints and uses powder operations to prepare components to contribute to product completion.
• Unloads parts from the line and visually inspects completed parts.
• Applies painting and/or powder process per product specifications.
• Sets paint/powder equipment for proper tolerances, color and feed rate.
• Responsible for work preparation, cleanup and quality assurance of own work and area.
• Promotes reliability and quality, supporting continuous improvement and meeting training criteria.
• Contributes to cost reduction and on-time, complete, error-free shipments; adheres to safety.
• Meets work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends.
• Must lift/push/pull 50+ lbs throughout shift.
