The Jor-Mac Company Inc. is hiring for a 1st Shift Powder Painter in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. You will apply high-quality powder coatings to metal components, prepare surfaces, operate coating equipment, and monitor curing to ensure durable finishes.

This full-time role requires safety compliance and attention to detail. Schedule is Monday-Thursday, 6:30am-4:30pm with potential for overtime. Candidates with powder coating experience or willingness to learn are encouraged to apply, with a strong team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in powder coating or industrial painting preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and detailed instructions.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare metal surfaces via cleaning, sanding, masking, and preparation methods.
• Operate powder coating equipment (spray guns, powder booths).
• Apply powder coatings to meet quality and thickness specifications.
• Monitor curing ovens and adjust settings as needed.
• Inspect finished products for defects or inconsistencies.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team to meet production goals.
