Job summary

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Five+ years of manufacturing experience, with powder coating or related finishing.
Three+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
Working knowledge of powder coating processes and finishing equipment.
OSHA safety regs and environmental compliance know-how.
Experience with ERP/mfg software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Supervise, coach, train, and develop powder coat line employees to meet daily production and quality goals.
Plan, assign, and coordinate work to meet production schedules and delivery requirements.
Oversee all powder coating operations (pretreatment, cleaning, masking, application, curing, inspection, packaging).
Ensure proper operation of conveyors, spray booths, ovens, and finishing equipment.
Maintain compliance with safety policies and environmental requirements.
Monitor coating thickness, adhesion, color consistency, gloss, and cure quality for customer specs.
Coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure preventive maintenance.
Train staff on paint application, equipment operation, and standard work instructions.
