Qualifications

• Previous powder coating or related experience is a plus.
• Dependable, mechanically inclined, willing to learn.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• English, U.S. work authorization and a valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Prep materials and jobs for coating.
• Perform hand-tool and surface preparation.
• Take blast-profile and coating-thickness readings.
• Learn and operate powder guns and their settings.
• Apply powder coatings consistently and to industry standards.
• Identify appropriate tools and application methods for the job.
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other shop equipment.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and your work area.
• Follow proper safety and hazardous-waste procedures.
• Show up consistently, on time, and ready to contribute.
