Job summary

Powder Coating & Production is seeking a focused operator to run coating equipment and support assembly lines. You will apply powder coatings using automated and manual methods, adjust settings for quality, and monitor finish while keeping records up to date.

Ideal candidates have experience with powder coating booths and spray systems and can work in a manufacturing environment with varying conditions. This role offers a stable, full-time opportunity and room for growth.

Qualifications

• Previous powder coating or industrial paint line experience preferred.
• Experience operating powder coating booths and spray systems strongly preferred.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with changing temperatures, noise, dust, and moving equipment.

Powder Coating & Production

• Operate powder coating equipment including spray guns, hoppers, reclaim systems, and booth collection systems
• Apply powder coatings using both automated and manual spray techniques
• Adjust equipment settings as needed to improve coating quality and efficiency
• Support production schedules by operating assigned machinery and workstations
• Monitor coating consistency, coverage, and finish quality

• Maintain accurate production and quality records
• Identify and troubleshoot coating or equipment issues when possible
• Understand the effects of pretreatment, curing, airflow, voltage, gun settings, and part geometry on coating performance

Quality & Safety

• Follow all company safety procedures along with OSHA and environmental guidelines
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of coating equipment
• Conduct quality checks before curing and identify defects or inconsistencies
• Report safety concerns, equipment issues, or environmental incidents promptly
• Work collaboratively with production leadership and team members to maintain efficiency and quality standards

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with changing temperatures, noise, dust, and moving equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 20 lbs frequently
• Ability to wear required PPE including safety glasses and steel-toe/composite boots
• Ability to work in a physically demanding industrial environment
